Two Street Lights out at Carmichael Center on Kirkwood side.
Concerned about stores leaving, like book stores, k-mart, sears. What are we doing to address this?
There is a long stretch of road where one side of traffic has been closed/blocked off for some time at E Winslow Rd & S Old State Rd 37. A resident called stating that she went to the street department, who told her to go to P&T, who told her to go to the county, who told her to go to the city. Asking about this stretch of road and when it will be reopened.
A resident called regarding the construction happening at W 2nd St + W Bloomfield St near the Buffalo Wild Wings. He said that traffic has backed him up for 30+ minutes and had he known this street was under construction, he would not have taken it. Requesting appropriate signs to be put out beyond the construction sight itself
Dead tree on NW corner of 2nd and Swain that is filled with poison ivy.
Line of sight from the parking lot of the adjacent apartment complex is impeded by flowers and plantings on this property.
We patrol Crestmont area often and find many kids out playing on the side walks and street. There is also a lot of speeding traffic through there. We are requesting signs be put up, especially around the area that the new park is being built. Signs saying to slow down, children at play. We would like signs in several places in Crestmont, as there are many kids everywhere, if possible.
940 N Jackson. Lots of items out front without a scheduled pick-up.
A resident called and complained of trees needing to be cut down and general issues seeing stop/street signs in the area. I believe the area that he is describing is the three-way stop at the back entrance to the CVS parking lot. Trees have apparently become overgrown, making the signs difficult to see.
A resident called about runoff "behind the AT&T store on Willis." He said that he attempted to call utilities about it multiple times but the woman answering the phones was not helpful and claimed that it was the OOTM's oversight and not theirs. He did not want to leave his name or contact information with us. I'm not sure what the process looks like for this, but if someone could check on the water runoff in this area, I think it would be helpful. We have received a few emails about it as well.
