SEWER ODOR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOUSE
LETTER WAS RECEIVED ON 3/11/97 FROM MARY C. FARQUHAR OF THE BLOOMINGTON THRIFT SHOP. MS. FARQUHAR STATED THEY RECEIVED A LARGE BILL. SHE STATED THAT ON 2/11/97 A REP FROM CBU WENT TO THE THRIFT SHOP AND TOLD THEM THEY USED 60,000 GALLONS DURING THE PREVIOUS PERIOD AND SUGGESTED THAT THEY HAD A LEAK. THEY CALLED A PLUMBER AND HAD THE LEAK REPAIRED. THEY ARE REQUESTING THAT THE PORTION OF THEIR BILL OVER NORMAL USAGE BE CANCELED SINCE THERE WAS A LEAK.
Owner, Robert Crider, wants to protest his being held responsible for large unpaid bill for tenant Amanda Choi. He states he did not receive notification of delinquent bill.
Ms. Erskine came in to pay her bill and left a letter stating that she felt a sign should be on the Service Control Center identifying this department as the water co. (or utilities co.).
Mr. Winkel would like to appeal to the USB because he does not feel he should be required to pay the connection fee for sewer at this location.
Ltr. rec'd. from Mark Warner stated that bill at 1412 W. 11th was for $436.75. Mr. Warner feels that was an error and an adjustment should be made. Meter was checked by CBU, and no problem found. Mr. Warner feels that they have paid for bills and should be credited for the estimated bills received.
Upset with change of address instituted by HAND to standardize addresses in her block for emergency purposes.
Mr. Adams received large bill for former residence on 1221 N. Maple St. He wrote requesting info how this amount could be so large. Mr. Waller states that Cust. Serv. had wrong social security # on notice and that application could not be located. Would like an explanation.

Letter rec'd. and phone call rec'd. stating that Mr. Vencel would like to appear water and wastewater bills for August and September 2004. They do not feel there were any leaks and want to appeal.
