The resident called stating that the crew threw his recycles out on the ground. The resident spoke to Rhea and was verbally abusive to her on the phone. Attempts to call him back were not answered. This resident has yet to return my calls. On Friday a driver was sent and the items wee picked up. The regular crew was spoke to about this and states they did not throw the items out onto the ground.
Mr. Hill said he had too much recycling for his two allotted recycling bins. He sorted all his recycling and puts the rest of it into two black bags to recycle. However, they were not picked up.
Mr. Shields called to complain about missed trash and recycling pick ups, but also described calling the sanitation office and dealing with a "rude" employee when discussing these issues.
During the heavy winds this week, there were some trees down at Rhorer and Snoddy. A city crew picked this debris out of the road and placed it into the yard of 4025 S. Gran Haven Dr. Caller understands that he is not annexed into the city, however the debris was moved from City property to this non-annexed yard. Frustrated that her recycling wasn't picked up again today -- said her service has been spotty, repeatedly -- and she's called twice today requesting that it be picked up and has had no response.
Female bus driver said she thinks it's dangerous for City Sanitation trucks to block the entire width of the street when they're doing the trash pickup. She said she's afraid there will be a bad accident.
