BUSHES OVERGROWN CAUSING A PROBLEM TRYING TO PULL OUT ONTO GRIMES LANE. THE GENTLEMAN ORIGINALLY FILED A COMPLAINT WITH "HAND" ABOUT THE BUSHES AND HIGH GRASS. THE OWNERS MOWED THE GRASS BUT THE BUSHES HAVE OVERGROWN ONTO THE SIDEWALK AND THE GENTLEMAN CANNOT GET HIS WHEELCHAIR AROUND THEM.
The northwest corner of this intersection has shrubs that are too high and too close to the sidewalk. South bound traffic on Hawthorne cannot see to the west to enter into the intersection safely.
Ms. Wruble stopped by Pubic Works Department to voice her concerns regarding a line of sight problem exiting High Speed Tire Company. She was involved in an accident recently and she stated that she could not properly see oncoming traffic before she pulled out of the parking lot. She also stated that there is no sidewalk for pedestrian use and that cars park on both sides of Madison which also inhibits line of sight.
Ms. Vent stated that there is an apartment complex at the corner of Dodds and Henderson as well as a rental property and the the cars are parking on both sides of the street Ms. Vent stated that is there are cars parked there you cannot see to pull out on Henderson Street and if there is a car waiting to pull out you cannot turn on to Dodds. Citizen says City required Jim Ray to put sidewalk in front of his house, work is going on right now. Sidewalk installation has lowered water meter, now water runs into meter box when it rains, meter box needs to be raised.
This address has several complaints in the system re: over occupancy and trash. The citizen states that the renters leave their trash cans out on the sidewalk all the time. They don't take them in. Can a notice be sent, since there is a fine for this violation?
