sidewalk torn up in the 300 block, in front of Taco Bell (think by gas company) and was never repaired. Has been out for awhile and is a hazard to pedestrians (Carol I also think they did not repair the sidewalk next to Alice's house on Morton and 10th. You may want to address both of these walks with them)
Mr. Madsen called to express his concern about the efficiency of tax money on the sidewalk sweeper the City just purchased. He believes the City merchants should sweep their own sidewalks, and in the winter should shovel their own walks to better promote people to use the dowtown area. 8TH & ADAMS STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT: HALL STATES THAT THE SIDEWALK IS SPALDING VERY BADLY. HE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMEONE FROM THE CITY COME AND WALK THE SITE WITH HIM. HALL STATES THAT THIS IS "THE WORST JOB HE HAS EVER SEEN".
The employees at BPD park along the east side of Morton St. the sidewalk in the 400 block of N. Morton is overgrown with weeds, has a lot of broken glass on it and the sidewalk is broken and uneven in most places.
The corner house on 4th and Jackson streets has fireplace logs in the middle of the sidewalk. They have been there now for over a week. Also, the house on Jackson, next door, the owner planted trees in the alley.
This yard is just a wreck the trash is out most all the time and much of the time cans are on the sidewalk. Veg. grows over the sidewalk, the place is just a wreck

There is a tree near the sidewalk on this property heavily infested with poison ivy, which is encroaching out over the sidewalk, and needs to be removed.
There have been several bags of trash (with no tags) on the sidewalk for 2 weeks.
