Fells that traffic on kinser pike in the 1400 block is too fast. He feels drivers are exceeding the speed limit. He would like officers to patrol the area, but has gotten no response from requests to the Police Department.
Many drivers on Walnut are running stop light at Hillside/Walnut. Ms. Roska feels giving some tickets in the area would cause people to obey the traffic light.
There is a problem on South Maxwell Street just South of Hillside Drive. When there are cars parked on both sides of Maxwell it is difficult to pull off of Hillside Drive and get through. She has been blocked and told to go around the block to access her home. It is dangerous because you do not know the cars are there until you are half way onto Maxwell Street.
Stop sign is completely covered by vegitation at the intersection of W.13th & Fairview.
The request is actually from the owner of 1425 S. Madison Street for "No Parking" in front of his house. The curb is currently painted 20' back from the intersection & 5' on either side of his driveway. This leaves only 22-24' (1 car space) in front of his house. XJD Properties recently purchased prop. at 321 W. Hillside Drive. At shift change there are several cars that come off of Hillside onto Madison and if anyone is parked there they are almost hit. Most residents have off street pkg.
Mr. Parks contacted us couple mo.'s ago re: traffic light @ GE entrance off Curry--semi's/cars both running light, running others off road--I explained it was County's jurisdiciton. This time called b/c County not responding--fed up! This time he added problem w/ speeding and reckless driving all up and down Curry. Again, reiterated what part of Curry is County & what's City (from 1833 Curry to Fulerton Pk)--told him I'd forward complaint to BPD to see if they could patrol area more & ticket.
