LOW WATER PRESSURE
LOW WATER PRESSURE
MR. HEISE CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEMBER JASON BANACH ON MEMORIAL WEEKEND AND COMPLAINED ABOUT A CITY SEWER THAT WAS CAUSING WATER BACKUP IN HIS DRIVEWAY. MR. BANACH CALLED UTILITIES DEPT. ON 5/27/97 TO REGISTER COMPLAINT.
House has been vacant since last summer. Occupants threw trash and boards from garage into back yard. Grass has not been mowed this year. House is an eyesore. Garage is falling down. Haven for rodents.
There is sand, from last winter, on a two block area of sidewalk on N Smith Rd, from MorningSide Dr. N, to Grandview Dr. that needs to be cleaned off. There are a lot of bike riders in the area, and the sand could cause someone to "wipe out."
There are people going in and out of this house at all hours of the night. There doesn't seem to be living facilities.
There are two cars parked in alleyway beside 620 W 13th. One car has no license plates and has been there since last summer. The other has been there for six months.
DIRTY WATER
Grass at the old ST Semicon bldg is well over a foot high. It looks awful and is a real problem for people parking on College and trying to walk through it. Address is approximate.
This involves Heatherwood Trailer Court. Under new management; tenants used to get indv. bills from CBU; now comes from management of Park; water bills are very high and seem to have no relation to how many people live in residences, i.e. 60-yr. old lady lives alone and water bill for 1 month was $69; another family of 4 was $19. Residents are afraid of manager; afraid of being evicted. Can we help?
