Biking & Walking

1930 E 7th ST

Case Date:
2/23/2023

This street is part of the 7 line and yet doesn’t have any traffic demarcation. Needs lane/yellow lines and white bike symbols. This was needed 4 years ago. They are completely gone now leading people to believe it is a one way street. This street (all of 7th, on campus) is part of the city’s green initiative and alternative transportation effort. thanks!

At the corner of Clifton and E Second there is a realtor sign that protrudes into the road and forces cars to move over to the left in a place where the road is already narrow. It is clear that the sign has been hit at least once already. It has been there for months now.

Longview was the best (or one of) greenways for biking, and really the only one from east side to downtown. But for probably two years now? the construction by Best Buy has clogged that up. When will that finally finish? I assume a construction requirement is that they make a nice Greenway for biking again? I'm concerned the traffic there will make it much more dangerous than it was so hoping the City has thought that complex/bike path through.
