There may be no illegalities within the mayors administration, but there are breeches of the peace through his office. The city does not derive a debt to the State of Indiana, it does operate under the same jurisdiction, and that means authority. Mark Kruzan is being given a vote of no confidence because of the Separation of Church and State. He has become a rebel, and some of his actions have been worthy of accrediting, but in light of other circumstances in the city , such conducts will have negated such accreditation. He is a disgrace for not challenging Federal authority away from being an independent on the ballot, and does not deserve to remain the Mayor of Bloomington city government.

Reliable power should be a staple of good city infrastructure, especially as climate changes. Stop blaming Duke. We should not lose power for hours and hours regularly throughout the year. And the same areas of town. It's not a random storm. It is that certain areas of town routinely lose power in such storms. And it's not rich areas like Elm Heights. A good chunk of Park Ridge East and other areas consistently lose power. Please please address it.

Nicholas Spagnolo, regarding the issue with shopping carts (30-40 just in the 1/2 mile between switchyard dog park and tapp on the b-line), what are the cities plan? There has to be hundreds at this point? Homeless are stealing this at will without repercussions and leaving them all throughout the city. Thanks!

Citizens of Bloomington want it noted now that we disagree with the following new location for the proposed county jail. This will still be a partnership with the City as there is a need for added city services.
As seen in Herlad Times: “Commissioners criticized for slow progress on Monroe County Jail solution - By Boris Ladwig, The Herald-Times”
This is a rural and mixed urbanized area in the county. Those communities to the northwest feel the same as the previous venture to the southwest of Bloomington. Those neighborhoods are equally as important and the policy makers in the City need to hear that there is dissent and ensure they make it clear that we do not support this. Thank you

Please note dissent of the newly proposed location for the Monroe county jail to the northwest of Bloomington (still Bloomington address). Do not ruin this wonderful community area that has greater potential than a jail complex! This dissent amongst Bloomington citizens and visitors to the area alike needs to be noted to city council members, Bloomington transit, and administration for any future coordination of this County Jail. This would be a failure of community planning to the highest degree!

Thank you City for moving ahead on Morningside calming. So excited and glad you are expediting with construction in mind. Please ignore the curmudgeons. Progress and safety!
