Property is on SE corner of N Bryan and 7th St. The traffic calming bump out on the 7th street side is overgrown with Johnson grass and has been for months. A look at google street view shows it was overgrown in July of last year, showing this is a chronic issue at this location.
Email from complainant: Dear Inspector(s), I am the property owner of 135 N. Clark St., 47408, Joel J. Barker (son of Mary Jo and Jim Barker). My tenant has brought to my attention that the residents of 134 N Roosevelt St., 47408 are placing their junk/garbage (broken lawn furniture, trash bags, etc.) in the back of their property out of sight from the street. I would like to give you, the inspector permission to come onto our property at 135 N. Clark St., 47408 and take care of this violation. While the violation continues you, the inspector have my permission to come onto the property until the trash is removed. Traffic calmer near Hillsdale (east side) and 7th is overgrown and being ignored. This is a common theme for these.
yard at property has excessive trash in back yard, accessible from alley running behind property.
Grass is over a foot tall. We contacted the property management company over a week ago and they have done nothing.
Excessive debris and extreme overgrowth in the back yard causing infestation of insects and animals.
Trash in ROW overnight, not taken by crew on 7/17/2024. Perhaps an oversight or intentional for some reason. No one occupying the home currently. So it's going to site there until next week unless the property owner/manager deals with it.
