The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. You have 8 workers with their thumbs up their butts doing absolutely nothing and with whatever cheap traffic barriers in place traffic was stopped 3 ways-I waited for 11 minutes heading north and the traffic was backed up past the intersection at Hillside I’ve never seen anything as incredulous in my entire life

The weeds at this address are taller than people. You can't walk down the sidewalk in the area because its so overgrown. The yard has been overgrown for at least five years now and it appears to be an ongoing issue. The overgrown yard is also creating safety hazards, such as blocking sidewalks, obstructing visibility for drivers, and attracting pests, including rats and raccoons. overgrown yard might be violating. The overgrown yard is affecting the neighborhood's appearance, property values, and quality of life for residents. Neighbors have complained numerous times, but the city doesn't seem to address the issue with this yard.

I cannot park in the alley because my neighbor, David Arthur, told me I'm not allowed to park next to my house in the lot. I have a disability and a handicapped parking pass. I am deaf, and I need access to parking at home. David's black truck is out of order and parked in the backyard. He has four vehicles, and I cannot park next to him. I was told the city owns the alley. I need to know what I need to do to be able to park in the alley.

There is a surveillance camera at the construction property on Grimes and Henderson. Thought it was a street light at first but then realized it was a surveillance camera, feel that it is against public privacy, especially since it is located at a construction site with private contractors.

This is an Envirosac of cement (concrete construction debris), likely left over from fiber optic installation one year ago. It is at the residence of 2809 E Daniel Street. It was a box of powdered cement, that naturally hardened into concrete, making it VERY heavy. I would like to know who to contact to remove this from the easement? Another neighbor asked the residents to please remove it, however they have not, and they likely do not think it is their place to do so since the fiber optic company fractured their driveway and did not take this box of cement with them when they repaired it. Can you please point me in the right direction. Photos included. Thank you!

On the corner of Covenanter and high on the right as you’re heading south on high there’s a dangerous drop off into a rocky drainage area that needs to have a guardrail or some type of protection. The road lists in the direction of the drop off and at some point fire and rescue is going to have to fish a car out of the drop off. Not sure how this was allowed to be built without a guardrail. It may be the biggest pothole in the city.
