A plant is growing over the sidewalk prohibiting pedestrian walking on the sidewalk at this address 1189 Weather stone.
A tree or bush is blocking the sidewalk at the corner of S Larkspur Lane and W Allen Street, and it is causing difficulty with a driver's line of vision of oncoming traffic when pulling out of Larkspur Lane onto eastbound on Allen Street.
Kirkwood Ave should be blocked off heading east from Dunn Street. If cars travel east past Dunn, there is no place to go and they are having to turn around in the Kirkwood/Indiana intersection. Indiana is closed heading north at that intersection and one way heading south. Going straight takes you thr the Sample Gates. I've been watching this happen for several days from my office in Carmichael Center.
Westbound traffic on 2nd Street are trying to turn into the new Rockets Convenience Store. I've been in the left turn-lane for Patterson, and someone crossed the double-yellow line to make his own "turn lane" to go into Rockets. The way the entry is shaped there should be no left turn into the facility. Westbound traffic should turn on Patterson and access Rockets the back way. There have been other posts on social media about this. There needs to be a "No Left Turn" sign or something there - it's a prime spot for an accident.
The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. I submitted a report a day ago reporting that the City’s fiber project filled holes in the road with stones that were washing out. Surprise, with the rain yesterday they are even worse!
Hedge growing in front of house at the SE corner of Henderson and University can block driver heading west on University from seeing car (bicycle?) heading north on Henderson. I was heading north; had to slam on brakes. I thought the other driver had failed to stop, but when i came back later, i found that their line of sight might have been blocked. Thanks!
