CUSTOMER COMPLAINED OF WATER LEAK AT METER PIT. THERE WAS A CAR ACCIDENT IN HER YARD ON 7/15 AND SHE THOUGHT THAT THE LEAK WAS CAUSED BY THAT. ED SHERFIELD CHECKED IT OUT AND DECIDED THAT THIS WAS A CUSTOMER PROBLEM BECAUSE WHEN THE MAIN SHUT OFF WAS TURNED OFF INSIDE THE HOUSE, THE METER STOPPED CREEPING.

Hi there, I have a question regarding parking options. I am having a roughly fifty-person wedding ceremony/reception on the square on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend (9/1/2019), and many guests are coming from out of town for the low-key evening celebration. I am having a hard time working out parking. I realize street parking will be free that day, but in case it's crowded downtown for the holiday weekend, ideally I'd like for guests to be able to use the Morton parking garage and walk over. But I also don't want them to have to pay for parking themselves. In lieu of my giving each guest cash as they leave to pay for parking, is there any way I can, for example, pay for one-day permits for them ahead of time? I realize this is nonstandard, but I would so appreciate any tips or recommendations you may have. Thank you for your help! Rita
