Using the MyBloomington website, ( https://bloomington.in.gov/mybloomington/ ) It would be helpful to list the historic designation per the SHARD for houses both in and out of historic districts. (i.e. C / Contributing, NC / Non-Contributing, O / Outstanding, etc.) and linked to a page that explains WHAT THAT MEANS in terms of modifications to the outsides of houses, whether or not that structure is in an historic district. Many homeowners come before the Historic Preservation Commission angry and uninformed. Consult with the HPC Program Manager, Noah Sandweiss, on what to put in these blurbs - it changes based on whether the property is in a district, as well which district it is in. This is a suggestion for a website related service. You’ve rolled out a calendar for yard waste and recycling pickup on re-collect, which I use and greatly appreciate. I am wondering if a similar calendar accessed through myBloomington can be established for street cleaning (with the suggestion that cars be moved if possible) to maximize efficiency.

I emailed Nancy Woolery about smoking near entrance of clear creek Kroger and my email was returned - says wooleryn@bloomington.in.gov does not exist. When you Google blooming Indiana smoking ordinance it pulls up a page with her name and that email
On the second floor on the Morton Street parking garage there is a security camera hanging very low. I walked into it today and was badly injured by it. It is a very big hazard for anyone walking in the parking garage. This has caused me a significant amount of trauma and pain. I am certain others have experienced the same issue. Please get this fixed immediately. The negligence is unacceptable. My team of lawyers will be in contact.
Occupants have been erecting numerous structures made of pallets, wood, and tarps throughout their property for several weeks. The backyard seems completely full of these shanties. Their "construction" continues throughout much of the evening many days of the week, often extending to 10:00pm or later. The banging and power tool noise is a nuisance and the many structures they are creating seem very unsafe, especially for the children that are seen/heard playing there.
A few of the capstones on the retaining wall out front are precariously hanging close to the edge as a result of long-term, hydrological processes. They look like they are about to fall, especially if someone happens to sit on the wall at that place. Owner of this property is the same as 322 E. 12th, the one with the dangerous sidewalk. He is an out-of-state, absentee landlord who doesn't care about the neighborhood or safety in general. If he is going to be required to fix the sidewalk on 12th, please also require him to attend to this retaining wall. One of the capstones has already fallen and broken. Someone just picked it up off the sidewalk and placed it back on top of the wall without mortar.
West end of the retaining wall on north side of the property (Cottage Grove side) has degraded so much so that the capstone is no longer supported by underlaying stone and could fail if any significant pressure is placed on it, such as someone sitting or stepping on it. It is adjacent to the former driveway.
