The occupants of this property store their several trash and recycling bins facing S Walnut St. At any given time, numerous pieces of trash litter the ground in front of the home, the parking area, and the alley. The porch on this house is MISSING! Meaning, there are no floor boards. Anyone stepping onto the porch at night in the dark (human or animal) will fall into an abyss. This building should be repaired or removed - it is dangerous.
Not sure what is going on at the empty lot at 416 E cottage Grove but is seems to have become a dumping grounds for old building material including a pile of old wood with nails in it. No building permit is visible at the site.
