422 E 11th ST

Can the City require that garbage dumpsters be screened from the public and/or somehow protected from scavengers and other vermin? This location regularly has so much waste and refuse that it overfills the container and spills over, creating an eyesore, a health risk, and even at times blocking traffic.

Please replace Park Ridge massive bumps with something reasonable but effective like in Park Ridge East.

Sidewalk Requests

2787 W Bloomfield Rd

Case Date:
7/8/2024

I've noticed a lot of people walking from the apartment complex out to the main road on this street and I wanted to send a report to see if someone could either trim the foliage to ensure people can walk on the side of the road or if a sidewalk could be created down South Oakdale Drive to protect pedestrians. Thank you!

Case Date:

There have been many wonderful improvements with the new Hawthorne Greenway, but there's a glaring absence of a decent pedestrian crosswalk from Weatherstone Ave. walking East or West across Woodlawn two new accessible curb cuts were made on the Weatherstone side of that intersection, but then, there's no crossing support for pedestrians to get into the park from there. I think a lot more kids will be taking that path from Weatherstone or from Hawthorne to cut across the park to get into Templeton Elementary School. A painted, raised crosswalk with signage would be ideal. Is that in the plans?

Students going to TNMS often try to cross here instead of walking to the roundabout where the crosswalks are. Can a crosswalk be placed here? What about the school zone signs with flashing lights that positioned by other schools? Tri-North's school zone signs are still located on 11th street/Blair Ave where the old building was.
