414 S. Meadowbrook Drive has landscaping that is causing significant line-of-sight problems at a curve in the road. The usable width of the roadway is also affected. Neighbors are hoping that the city can contact the owners about cutting back the vegetation.
While digging holes for a tree planting on 4/30 behind St. Thomas, we found 3 thin utility lines in one of the dug holes (lines were not harmed) -- our 811 ticket was completed, so we think these may be inactive lines but wanted to make sure before we put the tree in that spot. Is this something the CoB can check on? Thanks!
Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. Large pothole/damage to the street occurred something in the past 17 days (we were out of town starting 1 June and it wasn't there when we left). Someone did something that seems to have ripped up two layers of pavement. This pothole has the additional feature of being right at the end of our angled driveway, so now it's much harder to avoid scrapping the bottom of the car when pulling in and out. So even a short term quick fix would be appreciated if possible. Thanks, Carrick Rogers
In westbound right lane of E Third St at S Pleasant Ridge Rd, two potholes are a threat to cars turning right on Pleasant Ridge.
Pothole....pavement missing...large...been there for over a year and has been reported previously
Asphalt has been tearing away for over a year and running down stream into the walkway directly west of the end of Homestead Dr. Large area 3' by 6' has been torn away and keeps getting worse with every heavy rain.
3600 block of Brownridge Rd on north side: Due to flooding, the stream bed is encroaching on the road surface so that now there's a 3-ft. drop eroded up to the black-top. It's beginning to undermine the road surface. Some local erosion control for about a 10-foot stretch should arrest the problem for the foreseeable future, I'd think. Of course, we could wait until the road gets undercut, and that'd be quite a bit more complicated, I think.
The sides of the road at the corner of E. Brownridge and Fieldcrest have collapsed resulting in stones and potholes. In general Brownridge is in terrible conditions and needs repaving. The drainage ditch at the corner need excavating and concreting at the sides.
