Running some sort of car business out of the home. At least 7 cars parked all along the road with random people working on cars day and night on the street. No place to park. Looks like trash. Car parts and debris everywhere all the time. Not appropriate for a neighborhood at all
Please ask parking enforcement to monitor for vehicles parked the wrong way on South Park Ave. This presents a safety hazard for the students and parents of Templeton Elementary.
I have reported this problem to the City several times, but nothing has ever been done about it. There is a used car business being operated out of a house at 1316 S. Palmer Ave. Deliveries of used cars and trucks arrive every week, and more often than that. The owner of the business has workers working who are always in the street. The vehicles and the workers block traffic, and it is unsafe for the workers refurbishing the used cars and trucks. In fact, that block of Palmer has become a one-lane street. The cars and trucks are parked up and down the street at all times. The place itself is trash heap. I own a house in the 1400 block, only two doors south of this used car lot, and my property value is diminished because of it. This would NEVER be allowed in any other residential neighborhood in the city. There are constantly many used cars and trucks coming and going as they get refurbished and sold. I've had enough. Please do your work.
The guy lives in this house, keeps working on cars all up and down the street. Taking other people’s places to park on all street parking. It’s difficult once again to get through the onslaught of cars, he has parked up and down the street. I kicked him out of somebody else’s driveway the other day cause he just decided to park the car in their driveway and it’s one of my properties for my property management. I’m responsible for. It’s ridiculous that several people on this block have expressed their concerned about this yet. It’s still going on. now he’s on as the picture shows, the opposite side of the street working on a truck in front of somebody else’s house that’s not even his general parking area. This is getting frustrating and out of hand I’m going to file a complaint against the city with a petition, signed behind it with everybody else’s name on it because this is not getting dealt with correctly. I’ve ran them off in front of my house, blocking my driveway, and I don’t even live within two houses of him. He’s working on vehicles all throughout the day and we can’t even get through the road sometimes due to doors wide open.
Neighbor is working on vehicles along the street making it very difficult to pass by. I have an actual picture of guy laying under a truck with his legs in the street. This person has been called on several times and just been warned from what I gather from other neighbors on the street. He’s had trucks delivered all hours of the night and day. Blocking drives and blocking mine while I was home. He’s spry painting vehicles and the over spray is like a cloud in air, our vehicles are parked outside so this is a big issue. He has people doing work for him and parking in front of our house when we needs spaces for our visitors and family members when needed. He’s blocked other driveways as well. The last few days trucks parked there have doors on the street side left open making it more difficult to pass with already limited access
I live at 710 E Maxwell Lane and have been having problems turning onto my street when coming from either direction on Henderson. There is an airb&b house on the S/E corner and renters often park right at the end of the street on a yellow curb. If they get a ticket they most likely ignore it since they are from out of town. The curb also needs to be repainted since the yellow has faded. I ask that someone do something about this including contacting the owner as well as towing offending owners cars.
The whole lawn would be improved if vehicles parked on the paved street instead of the grass.
Vehicles parked going against traffic creating hazards
On the northeast corner of the intersection of S Washington and E Wylie, there is a long yellow curb. There are always 2-3 cars parked at this curb, which makes it hard to see oncoming traffic when crossing over Washington heading west on E Wylie St. I was nearly hit this past weekend when a car was speeding down S Washington and wasn't visible due to all the parked cars.
