Hello My name is Annette Castillo. My family and I moved into Blue Ridge last July on N Blue Ridge Ct. I wanted to reach out to you concerning some issues and questions about the neighborhood. This morning there was a verbal argument with our next door neighbors. It escalated to the point of threats. This situation happened because the neighbor came outside to spray “weed killer” in the very section where my nephew was parked. He verbally told them to move. We have had issues with our neighbors since we moved in concerning property lines that they have claimed, and other issues of them not being very welcoming to our family. We have tried our best to avoid these encounters, but now we are at the point that for them to choose to physically harass our guests that visit our home is uncalled for. They have claimed to own the property where we have been reminded multiple times of not to mow and now not to walk on property. We took the initiative to go down to the city last August to verify their claims. The city printed out the property lines and stated that the property was a utility easement. We did not want any issues so we just went along with their claim. I was yelled at this afternoon and threatened to be “put down” by this neighbor today. He not only verbally harassed our family but then threatened to physically harm us. I am beyond words right now and was advised by the Bloomington Police Department to contact the neighborhood association. To ask if there was something we missed about parking on the street? Is that public parking? If not, what are the rules and regulation concerning the street parking? Also, is there anything in place with the HOA to file a complaint? This broken down vehicle blocking access to two properties at 1406 W 6th street. It is parking in the grass of an undeveloped city alleyway. It is not running, blocking two properties and blocking a city alleyway

Large red work trailer has been parked on Wiltshire Ct in Park Ridge East for weeks. Wiltshire Court is generally treated as a parking lot - many MANY city officials have been aware of this - and nothing is ever done.

Cars always parked alongside the bus stop where the wheelchair ramp is bus turning off of West 15th can often not see people over SUVs and trucks parked along there I believe the city ordinances no parking but cars continue to park there because there is no sign or curb painted with enough room for the bus to pull over to the right almost missed the bus to work because people am small and cars were blocking as usual and people feel unsafe walking between cars to run out into the road and wave down the bus. A person in a wheelchair can certainly not be seen and would have difficulty Wheeling out into the street to the bus because there is not room for the bus to pull over and lower the lift on to the ramp attaching the road to the sidewalk have people called City police for towing multiple times police drive close by look over and then drive away doing nothing

The two lights in the alley along the west wall of the 4th Street parking garage are out. The one closest to the photographer in this photo has been out since a few weeks after the garage opened. I would suspect that they are both still under warranty. The alley is pretty dark, the photo is misleading as to the light level there.

This is my second complaint about the abandoned VW Scirocco. Although it was ticketed last week, it remains in the same spot. Now, the front bumper has been knocked off and is sitting in front of my house. Please arrange to tow this vehicle promptly. Thank you. Sincerely, Elida C. Behar 12/14/2024

Reference: U Report #199670 Per Raye Anne Cox, "12/16/2024 08:58:33 Closed by Raye Ann Cox The vehicle will receive a pink tow warning today, if not moved in 3 days, it will be towed on Thursday (12/19/24) morning. This is the process we must follow per the City Ordinance for Parking Services." The VW Scirocco is still parked outside my house at 404 E 1st Street. Please tell me when it will be removed. Per Ms. Cox, it was scheduled to be towed on DEC 19th; this has not occurred. The vehicle has been here since the Thanksgiving holiday.
