There is a car parked in the bike lane on Washington Street.
Anonymous caller. Said a car is blocking the bike lane at 519 S. Washington. Said the car has been parked there for a couple of weeks,
White truck parked along east side of Fairview Church. It's been there for a month - from the leaves around tires it doesn't look like it has moved. BUT, it's in a 2 hour zone. Please check it out.
Received a call today about a parking issue on 15th Street between Jackson and Madison. Caller says a new house has been built on that street and the homeowner parks a black truck in front of the home...reducing the narrow street to only one lane. He believes the homeowner is parking legally, but is concerned that it may be a safety issue during bad weather.
Parking on Hillsdale is clearly marked with signs that say "residential parking permitted M-F, 8-5." However, cars are routinely parked on both sides of Hillsdale in the evenings and on weekends. Most of them are parked near the intersection of Hillsdale and E. 7th St., which creates a very narrow lane for traffic and is a hazardous situation for drivers. The parking regulations for this street need to be enforced.
The 4th street parking garage was completely full and there was no sign to tell us not to go in along with 10 other cars. People were trying to back out of the garage and turning around was next to impossible. You need to close the garage if it is full. Very unsafe conditions trying to get out of the garage when cars are still coming in not knowing it is full.
Narrow streets, posted no parking by City. S Mill Stone Ct, S Mill Stone Way. A few residents continually park their cars on the street, making driving difficult. Would like an occasional police car to come through and write tickets.
I have been contacted about 2 outstanding parking tickets. I have spoken with the collection agency to inform them that those tickets were paid and I gave them the confirmation number that the tickets were never delinquent. The person I spoke with didn't update their system with the confirmation numbers in order to follow up with you (on March 21, 2012) and they called me again today. I would like to email you the receipt that I received from your website when I paid. Below is a copy of the receipt: From: CITY OF BLOOMINGTON <gateway@linkpt.net> Date: Fri, Feb 5, 2010 at 10:40 AM Subject: Receipt from CITY OF BLOOMINGTON To: Rafael Ishman <ishmanr@indiana.edu> Company: CITY OF BLOOMINGTON Reference Number: 10.174.5.172-1269ECA190F-4DDE4099-60171B1A Subtotal: $80.00 Tax: $0.00 Shipping: $0.00 Total: $80.00 CITY OF BLOOMINGTON
I paid my son's 40.00 parking ticket #I1200280 on line May 9, 2012. Your website said that it did not go through. So I tried it again, and it said there was a problem with the credit card. I tried it one more time and it went through. Well... I received three receipts saying it was paid. Ref. #1 = 10.174.5.142-1372DBC7397-70EF2644-3DD4FC3E Ref. #2 = 10.174.5.142-1372DA975E1-4455AA88-796A35A7 Ref. #3 = 10.174.5.142-1372DA49A86-7BD90C64-518A26FB Two of the three receipts have shown up on my credit card. So now I have paid 80.00 for a 40.00 ticket. Please check into this error and make the necessary changes as soon as possible. I hope that the 3rd receipt does not show up on my credit card. You may also want to look into your website and figure out WHY this happened. I will be looking for a credit to my account and would appreciate an acknowledgement to this issue. Sincerely Karen M.
