There is a car currently parked in the alley way between the townhouses on Samuel Lane. Cars are also parked in the no parking zone on Ezekiel Drive almost every day. Fire trucks have had issues getting through in the past. Most of the individuals are from the apartments.
There is constantly a truck on the sidewalk, and currently another car parked directly on the sidewalk. This issue has been raised multiple times to parking enforcement and to the police department. At best they are told to move and then they go right back to parking on and blocking the sidewalk. If this was anywhere downtown or near campus they would be cited and towed, but I walk with my child to Broadview Park and I am forced to walk in the dangerous intersection (the danger is apparent considering people park on the sidewalk so their cars don’t get hit). I want this on record in as many places as possible because if an accident does happen involving a pedestrian being struck by a speeding vehicle taking that turn, I want both the property owner’s and city’s negligence to be well documented. Hello. I have a question regarding parking. I frequent a business across the street from FAR (Fourth and Rogers Center for the Contemporary Arts). The owners of FAR have contacted the owner of the business I frequent and have stated that her customers cannot park in front of the glass garage doors (see the attached photos) as it is private property. Instead, we should use the parking lot in back of the building where the business I frequent is housed (the old Bloomington DMV). However, there are no signs or markers to indicate that this is private property. Sometimes when an event is being held, there will be signs taped to the glass garage doors warning people not to park there. However, most of the time, there are no signs. Is parking allowed here? Can I be towed/ticketed if I park there and there is nothing to indicate that this is private property? I appreciate your clarification on this! Thanks, Sarah
Traffic issue around tri north due( Tri north areas Dyer Blair and maple 14th st) to increase of students, and parent pick ups. Safety concerns. I have two videos showing concern 1 where it one way traffic due to parked cars on both sides of roads and I almost get hit. Black Ford EcoSport with a flat tire (driver side front) has been parked The Stands (near Rogers) for two days. No sign of removing car. It is a serious traffic hazard since it is on a curve. No cars are allowed to park on The Stands normally. Plate # Indiana QT4755.
