Vehicles parked in driveway are blocking the sidewalk
I parked in the 7th street garage on 18 October, 2022 from 5:50 pm until approximately 9:00 pm. I placed my charge ticket in the machine and it said 1.75 charge for which I inserted my Discover card. It said to hit the receipt button, but according to a gentleman I spoke with at (812) 369-3622, I must have hit the "cancel" button. Thinking I had a paper card to place in the machine to open the gate, I took it to the gate and entered it into the machine. It then said I owed $3.00 and initially it refused my discover card and a VISA card, but eventually took a Mastercard charging me $3.00. I then got the gate to open. So for this parking experience, I paid $4.75 for just over three hours of parking. The gentlemen said to go to dailyr@bloomington.in.gov and they could help me. I would like a refund of my $3.00 please. Thanks, Jim Faris
There is a car that has been parking for the last six months on the North side of the street on Morningside Dr. at Smith Rd. It is a danger and menace to traffic entering and leaving Park Ridge East. Can this section of road be posted "No Parking"?
Southbound direction of Morton street north of 8th St is parked up illegally every week during Farmers Market. This is blocking access to safe driving on Morton.
One of the city hall parking meters was reported as having anti-Semitic graffiti on it.
Got this tickets from your city & never been there, it’s a mistake of your system!
Car parked on grass at 4111 E. Deckard. I believe this is a rental.
Is the City no longer sending neighborhood permit renewal applications by mail or email? They will expire soon and when i went to the appropriate web page it looks like that has been operational since July 17, i.e., roughly a month before the old permits expire. That's plenty of time, but i would have appreciated a reminder. Thanks for taking this question, and perhaps referring it to the appropriate person.
Follow up on closed case #192588. Yes, I know when parking permits expire. I do not think a press release and a Facebook post qualify as adequate noticing. I understand the cost-saving of electronic messaging. Do you have special provision to contact non-tech savvy (often) elders directly? For years, ctizens have complained about the City's failure to communicate and be transparent. This approach to letting them know about complying with this important regulation isn't the best.
This vehicle continually blocks people's sidewalks, driveways and the road It is at marquis drive. Off crescent drive and 17 St in crescent point. It kept a school bus from passing around 3:30.
