Construction crew working on 901 west 1st Street parks on west wylie street just south of west 1st street everyday from approximately 9am to 5pm, mon-fri, blocking south bound traffic and causing traffic flow issues. There has been an abandoned Chevrolet pickup truck parked in front of 430 S Dunn St for about 4 months. It also has a tarp over the pickup end that periodically gets in the way of the street and other parking sports. It hasn’t moved or shown any sign of ownership since it first arrived in November.
I live on Marilyn Drive. I park a vehicle overnight on the street. I just want to make sure this is OK. I have read the ordinance where I must park going the same direction as traffic and I must not obstruct traffic, i.e. I need to make sure there is 12 feet for traffic to pass by. I just want to make sure on this. There are no - NO Parking signs on our street. During the snow storm I did make a point of not park on the street overnight so the snow plows could get through. Please let me know if I am OK with parking on the street - thanks for your help - Kevin Keough
