The sidewalk is blocked by a tree limb.
I think it’s unacceptable that well behaved dogs aren’t allowed at a park. And that it’s only if certain people are at the field because I’ve definitely brought my dog here before without any issues. And then to be kicked out and have to sit in the car with the dog for over 8 hours because we came for a softball tournament is outrageous. It would be one thing if my dog was misbehaving but we hadn’t even sat down yet. No dogs allowed has and always will be a stupid rule in outdoor public places. There are stores that allow dogs now let’s get with the program and change it to well behaved dogs allowed. And let’s give a person at least an hour to figure out what to do with the dog. Luckily, I came with my boyfriend today so my dog will not be suffocating in the car alone.
Hi. The ball fields at Bryan Park and Rev Butler are in complete disarray. They're not maintained, not a subtle one has a complete set of bases and/or mound and home plate, and the infields are dangerous. Last year we were told a new person was hired to correct the fields, but that never happened. We'd love to be able to fully use the ball fields. We'd even happily help fix and maintain them. Hope the city can fund proper care of these fields in our amazing parks. Thank you!
There is poison hemlock growing along both sides of the trail from Pete Ellis east to beyond the pool at The Crossing. There is also poison hemlock sprouting on the dirt slope going down from Pete Ellis to the tennis courts of The Crossing where they cleared out a homeless encampment last year. I'm not sure if this is public or private land.
The fountain needs to be repaired. It was one of the most lovely places to gather in this city and my sister with special needs loved going there to see the fountain. Why are our tax paying dollars not going towards fixing it?
Two park benches on the B-Line between Dodds and 1st Street are overturned.
Please post a sign at Park Ridge East shelter reminding residents that the shelter is not reservable. Leah Sinn Iversen and others have been trying to reserve on behalf of groups. With just the one shelter, drop-in use is appreciated. Thank you!
