Coming home from Ivy Tech Community College, where I work as a part-time custodian, on TAPP Road, just past the roundabout, there was a Log approximately 6 inches in cross-section diameter with a spike-like branch approximately 5 inches in length and a couple of smaller pieces of wood. I swerved to avoid contact but the wood hit the bottom and rear of my car hard. I had to hit my passenger front bumper and driver rear bumper back in place. I did this after I pull into the Marathon gas station on the corner of Winslow and Walnut. The time was approximately 2:30 am.

Loose bolt on basketball hoop at Switchyard: The south basket at the Switchyard basketball court has a loose screw that keeps needing replaced/tightened. As you face the basket, it's the upper-left bolt. A constituent has been voluntarily tightening it when it gets loose, but he wants it fixed. He said last time the bolt fell out and the washer was lost and had to be backordered/the basket was out of commission for a while. He said he's submitted some complaints before and it is still a problem.

Switchyard basketball court lighting: Most of the park is well lit at night (pickleball court, skate park, etc.) but the basketball court isn't. Constituent would like to request lighting there so it's safer/easier to see.

Hi, It seems there maybe miscommunication within the chain of command or not a 100% buy-in to "best practice" or a little of both. Report #181846 described a problem and its location. Unfortunately the problem has not been addressed in any way. However, it does look as though some one came through with a leaf blower and cleared the cypress leaves that had covered the trail further up towards Southeast park, next to tennis court entrance and wood post. I do very much appreciate that as the the pavement is very bumpy there in the corner and can cause loss of control of bike or scooter as well as trip walkers. I don't have construction experience but have used a shovel in the yard and that is probably all it would take. Just a shovel and one person to remove some soil blocking the current grade from working properly. If that isn't the solution how about adding a thin layer of pavement so runoff goes the other direction. I believe this was done on Renwick trail, there are patches of pavement here and there. Thanks for your help with this.

My son was arrested and his vehicle was left over there. It is in my name and I am in the process of trying to get him to release the key to someone so we can get it moved so I am asking if you could please not tow it without contacting me first at shannadhall1969@gmail.com or 8123607958. Why isn't there a ramp leading to the observation area for soccer at Twin Lakes? Tonight I witnessed two individuals in wheel chairs at the complex who wanted to watch the soccer games. The first person had to be carried up and down the stairs and the wheelchair was left near the bottom of the stairs. The second person remained in her wheel chair and the person she was with pulled the entire wheel chair up the stairs, step by step. Why can't the city build a ramp for everyone to use to get up to the observation platform? This is not accessible for people in wheel chairs and it needs to be addressed. Thank you for your time.

Tree at Sare & Mill Stone Way damaged by contractor work and city work over several months. Looks like all the work is finally done. Tree needs to be taken care of please, i.e., proper trimming of broken and dangling branches, some are cracked making the tree vulnerable to critters and disease. Also, at least one branch is dangling in the line of traffic, it is not safe.

On Sunday 12/4 at about 12:00 PM, I went to use the Electric Vehicle Chargers in the Switchyard parking lot. The two chargers on the south side would not activate when I plugged the cables into my car. I tried both of them. The two north chargers were in use by other cars and appeared to be working. I did not see the power light indicator on the two south stations, so it might just be a switched off breaker or it could be something wrong with the stations. Regardless, it should be looked into.
