It also has a large hole from either a woodpecker or a bullet. In-person or focus in on the photo and you can see how the sign has deteriorated from the weather. Maybe even a new sign if the budget allows. Much appreciated!
Attn. Parks Department A request to install a dog waste station at the Park Ridge park. We have discussed preliminary logistics with staff member Joanna Sparks when she met with us on a related parks initiative. We believe the station will be well utilized and maintained by our park custodial staff member. He provides good consistent service by the way. Please consider this request, placed in a shady area maybe at the base of the ADA path close to the street circle level. We have many dog walkers in the area so it will be appreciated. Thank you -
The water fountain is leaking. Water is seeping out around the base of the fixture. Thank you for addressing the erosion to the north of the steps leading up to the shelter and park. Also, there are multiple areas of erosion around the park. Notable areas are to the east of the shelter and to the south of the sidewalk on the south side of the playground structure but there are presumably other bare areas prone to erosion due to their location on a hill or in a high traffic areas. To prevent long term damage to the structure of the park and not having the shelter area turn in to a muddy mess, please address these issues.

Hello, I work for a local property manager, Mackie Properties. Our company manages a homeowners association called Madison Park located north of W Howe St, in between S Madison St and S Morton St. I was recently informed that the plants along a section of the B-line just east of Madison Park are becoming overgrown and would benefit from being trimmed. I've included photos of the relevant area, as well as a map of the area outlining the overgrown section with a red rectangle. Hi - there is a mosquito infestation in the woods between Oaklawn park & meadowcreek. I can see the trail from backyard. There was a cloud of mosquitos. It is a wildlife sanctuary there are what I believe rare birds I do not want it cut down but I want an arborist/ ecologist to assess if pine forests naturally have 2 feet of weeds, vines, underbrush. I googled misquote habitat & it says this exactly. Does the city own this easement ( trail)? If not - is it in city limits & issue a citation? I looked on city website there is a line here so I don’t know if the woods is on city or county side. There is a new disease in America , EEE, that mosquitos carry and it can be fatal or cause seizures. I know Mother Nature does their landscaping. The woods needs to be cleaned out please help my backyard of $150,000 condo is 10 feet away.
On August 21st, I reported a homeless camp at Wapehani Park. It was examined and reported back to me that the camp was on private property. I found this quite strange, because it is on a trail that has a difficulty marker at the beginning of the trail. It totally looks like the other trails in the park and there's absolutely no way to tell it's private property. At any rate, the homeless people have moved on and have left a large amount of trash in what I believe is the park. There are probably 15+ large bags worth of trash - clothes, books, pans, papers, etc. My original report was 165599. I really hope someone will look, because I really don't think what I'm describing is on private property. Thanks for your consideration!
