With the construction going on in the Building Trades Park homeless people are starting to hang out in the church parking lot across the street. The security patrols for the park used to check out that parking lot but have stopped since the construction has started. It would be nice if they swung through occasionally while the construction is going on.
There is a weeping willow at the corner of E Southdowns Dr and S Hawthorne that took a hit during this afternoons storm. We have cleaned most of it up and stacked it nearby for pickup. The problem is, there is still a very large, broken limb hanging dangerously above the walkway that we could not reach. For this branch to be removed, will require a lift and bucket to reach. Guards and managers at Bryan park go head first down slides and run around horseplaying. Isn't this against employee policy? Same rules should apply to guards for their safety.
Accessibility issue. One of the sections of covered tables at Switchyard Park is blocked off. The other side is open, but there are no wheelchair accessible table on that side. I can’t sit at any of the available tables. The other seating area needs to stay open during Food Truck Friday, or you need to move some accessible tables to the other side. ATTN Michael Shermis
I can't figure out how to turn the lights on in the right hand bathroom at Butler Park, which, incidentally, was the only toilet of the two available. So, I stood there with my foot in the door while my kid peed because he didn't want to pee in the dark.

People have been camping in the shelter houses at 9th St. Park for several weeks, if not months. I've been reluctant to officially report it but over the last week it's become a bit more permanent. And also a bit unruly.

The path surrounding the parking lot of the Winslow Sports Complex needs to be repaved. It is worn to the nub, cracked and uneven. It is a hazard to elderly and infirm people (of whom I am one). I walk there every day, several times a day. There are many of us who do this. During baseball games, there are also many parents and grandparents who have to walk this path. You are just waiting for a lawsuit if this goes unrepaired. Thank you. Janet Greenblatt
