There is a tree that seems dead in front of our condo complex. According to the online tree information, this is a street tree, and it is number 30477. We are interested to know if the tree will be removed? And if we have an option of weighing in on a replacement tree? We would love to have another tree planted. Thank you for your time!
Missing tree grades are a pedestrian hazard
This summer the city installed speed cushions and bump-outs in Park Ridge East along Morningside Drive. Native trees and shrubs were planted as part of this greenway improvement project. We experienced what seems to have been vandalism last night—the dogwood tree that the city installed in the traffic bump-out in front of our house was snapped off. It doesn’t appear to be the type of damage a deer would have caused (photo attached) which would be the only other explanation. Will the city be replacing this tree?
A large tree fell across the start of the Clear Creek trail at Irie Court near S Rogers & W That Road this morning. It is blocking the trail and will require chain saws to remove. Thank you.
Part of a tree has fallen and is blocking 75% of the road
Very large pin oak tree planted right next to the street is dead on at least half of it’s crown with dangerous branches broken and dangling over the street. Seems like a public hazard.
I have repeatedly requested for this gate and the others on the rail trail to be locked. It looks like someone has damaged the post on one of the gates. I would feel safer if it was not possible for cars or other motorized vehicles to easily access the trail from the nearby roads..
The Madison Park HOA would like to request that this tree, and the nearby tree stump from previously cut tree, are both removed. This is located in between the HOA property and the street, next the southwest building. We had a tree removal contractor assess this area and inform us that the tree is dying and needs to be removed. I believe this is the only tree left in this area, and we have been previously informed that these trees are owned by the City, not the HOA. I am reaching out on the HOA's behalf as their property manager, Mackie Properties. Please feel free to contact me directly via the information I provided, or contact the Mackie office at (812) 287-8036 or hoa@mackierentalproperties.com. Thank you.
Workout station in Bryan Park. Police tape was taken down & 3 people were using equipment. Is this a police matter during social distancing?
