I wanted to propose the addition of a pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of N Fess Ave and E 10th St. I live in Collins, and when walking between Hillcrest and the general courtyard buildings there are no immediate crosswalks in the area. The addition of white lines, particularly on the west end of this intersection (where there is already a metal grate where the sidewalk meets the road) would be very helpful for residents of Collins and would make the area safer for pedestrians trying to cross the street.

Could the City install a sidewalk along the west side of Dunn between Cottage Grove and 12th Street? There are also a couple sections in that stretch where there isn't even a sidewalk on the east side of the street, and a lot of people walk down that street even though it is only one-way.

The intersection of Pete Ellis Dr./Discovery Parkway and 10th Street is used by residents of numerous apartment complexes, bus riders, and community members accessing the post office and the greenway that goes along 10th St. The intersection is necessary for access to Indiana University from Woodbridge and Fountain Park Apartments, which hosts many graduate students. However, there is no crosswalk, pedestrian lights, or sidewalk platforms to allow for safe crossing along this very busy intersection. Additionally, the traffic lights are not able to be seen from the four corners of the intersection, forcing pedestrians to make an educated guess on when to cross. In short, the intersection is dangerous and near impossible to cross. Would it be at all possible in the future to include a) a crosswalk b) a pedestrian crosswalk light c) sidewalk cutout/curb ramps on the two corners in which there is not one currently? E 10th street is one of the main corridors for access to the university elementary school, whose district covers all the way to the campus view apartment. However, the hill on 10th street and the lack of a sidewalk nor a safe protected bike path make it almost impossible for students and families to access the school without a car. When students walk on this road, it looks perilous. A sidewalk and a protected bike path (not a painted gutter) would ensure the children's accessibility to the school, which can save a lot of money over the years (reducing the school bus operation)and remove a lot of traffic on 10th street (family driving kids to school).

The address for this issue is at 302 E. 7th st. The picture that I’m including shows the tenants at this house are coming North on 200 N Lincoln st driving over the curb/Sidewalk and driving through their yard and sometimes parking in the back yard.

The sidewalk in front of this complex (Townhouses on 10th) does not have ramps, just curbs, to cross the driveway to the complex. There is also a sunken area east of the complex entrance that is completely buried in dirt now (I'm not sure if it is on their property or on Woodbridge's, it is between). This makes it very difficult to walk through this area with a stroller and also makes it inaccessible to anyone unable to step down or up on a curb (and when it rains, the dirt-covered area turns into mud and gets pretty slick). There are some other areas that have shifted so the sidewalk is no longer even as well.

Retaining wall is collapsing onto sidewalk, blocking wheelchair use. Owner has not maintained wall - pieces have been haphazardly thrown back onto the property over the last couple years since the house degenerated into a rental.
