Hello, I'm a resident of 864 S. Romans Way, Bloomington, IN 47401. There are a couple of broken tree branches in the sidewalk in front of my house. I have put them away, but I'd appreciate if the city can take care of them at earliest convenience. Thank you.
The north side of 13th Street between Indiana and Fess has an old limestone masonry sidewalk, maybe from the 1950s (?) It is interesting for historic reasons - it looks like it matches the sidewalks that flank Lincoln between 10th and Cottage Grove - but parts of it have degraded to a point that it is now a bit awkward to walk on it, especially at night. (It is definitely not ADA-complaint.) Is there an office in town dedicated to historic preservation that could commission a team of masons to redo this sidewalk? There is a concrete sidewalk just east of this block that appears to match the pattern, but it is poured concrete with pattern-pressed and actually looks a little comical, as if it is trying to be something that it is not. Also, a side note: there is no sidewalk on the south side of 13th Street in this block. If there were one there (especially ADA-compliant), people could more safely walk from campus to "The Standard" along that street.
I've noticed a lot of people walking from the apartment complex out to the main road on this street and I wanted to send a report to see if someone could either trim the foliage to ensure people can walk on the side of the road or if a sidewalk could be created down South Oakdale Drive to protect pedestrians. Hi there, there are a few section on e ridgeview dr and e sunny slopes dr that have over growth of a bush/ tree into the road. Specifically across from 214 e ridgeview dr, where I have seen many cars swerve around to miss the overgrowth, making it dangerous for other cars and people walking in the neighborhood. In the past the city has come out to trim it back with a big machine. Could we please get it trimmed back again? I would really appreciate it so I can feel safe walking with my daughter around her and driving on the street. Thank you!
Retaining wall is collapsing onto sidewalk, blocking wheelchair use. Owner has not maintained wall - pieces have been haphazardly thrown back onto the property over the last couple years since the house degenerated into a rental.

Sidewalk 75% to 110% blocked by overgrowth. 113 and 117 East 15th Street and the corner of East 15th and North Washington. I walk my dog every day and have to go into the street to pass.
A block or so east of the intersection of 17th & Walnut, there is this overgrown bush that forces walkers into the street. Also, the speed limit sign has been vandalized with spray paint.
Invasive plants have grown so much that they are now blocking the sidewalk on the SE corner of this property.
