Threlkeld, James Shannon ​ [email protected] ​ Hello, Commercial Service has illegally parked their commercial trucks in our upscale neighborhood (average home value is 750K) every day for the last 30 days. It is parked at 3954 E. Fenbrook Ln. Bloomington 47401. They have been parking other vehicles (smaller) periodically since June of 2023. Now it's every day and with their large commercial trucks. I have posted to Ureport with no success. This is no different than parking RVs or boats in residential neighborhoods. The presence of these trucks puts downward pressure on the value of the homes in this neighborhood. Who wants to pay over 750,000 for a house with big commercial trucks parked in the driveway next door every evening when they come home and all day on the weekends? This is what Commercial Services is doing in this neighborhood. Just so you know, I have made three phone calls to the company asking them to stop parking these trucks overnight and on the weekends in our neighborhood.

The vehicle that is parked in the easement on Habitat Street has been cited by traffic control, but it is still parked there and it has not been moved for more than a week. It does seem to be abandoned.

My only parking place is deteriorating and the steps to my walkway are a hazard. The last couple rains we have had have washed a lot of dirt and gravel onto my grass. Can you add some railroad ties to reinforce this parking space or move my parking so that is goes to my side yard instead? I can add gravel but at this point it will just wash onto my lawn? I have fallen so many times the way this is currently setup. if the parking strip was more of a gravel drive way I could more easily get my garbage cans up to the street with out falling.
