I am very concerned about the speed of traffic on Vermilya avenue. The apartment complex down the street has several speed bumps which ensures traffic remains at a safe speed. I want to request a couple speed bumps to be installed on Vermilya Ave. Several drivers fly down this road at a very unsafe rate of speed. This is a quiet neighborhood with several pedestrians (including children and pets) walking the street/sidewalks at all hours of the day. Please help me make this happen. I was thinking of applying for the vacancy on the bicyclist and pedestrian commission. To learn more about the commission, I attempted to read the commission’s minutes. They are nearly incomprehensible, at least to an outsider, with little punctuation, run-on sentences and a total lack of context. The minutes are not a helpful tool for people to learn about what the commission does, which one would think is the point of a public record.

Multiple abandoned cars, trucks, and boats. These vehicles have been at the Sunoco gas station for years, they are all in non-operable condition. Most of these vehicles have no licenses plates or expired plates.
