RESIDENTS OF 1109 S ROGERS PARK IN THE ALLEY BLOCKING ACCESS TO 1105 S ROGERS' GARAGE.
Resident called in and stated that at the corner of 2nd and grant streets people park on the yellow curb. He would like more patrols in this area as it make is difficult to see when trying to pull out on to 2nd street as well as when turning from second street on to grant.
A boat has been parked on 9th Street between Washington and Walnut (closer to Walnut) for the past few weeks, and they have not seen it moved the whole time its been parked there.
People are sleeping/living in a van. Both non-working vehicles have been flagged for towing, but not towed. Also, suspected drug use going on inside the van.
Someone in the camper has set up a campsite at the end of Runkles Way. They’ve been there about 10 days.
Numerous junk vehicles at this location that meet the city code description of "abandoned" City code 15.04.020 section 6 - vehicles more than three years old that have not moved for 20 days that are in public view. They are not even registered! 2 of these vehicles are parked on unimproved surfaces - also this property is a junk yard.
There appears to be drug dealing going on in RCA Park. There is a black vehicle that appears to be involved with at least three undernourished pit bulls in and around the vehicle. If someone is approaching from the walking path the dogs bark and snarl. One appears to be secured by a thin rope. Why is there never a police presence in this area? I almost never see park security down here. It feels like parks and Rec has given up on keeping our parks safe.
People putting up Tents and spending the night at seminary park. I thought public parks had a curfew?!?! If not, how do we make reservations as me and about 50 friends want to set up rvs/tents and spend the weekend? Does it have electricity and water hookup?
We've been bothered recently during our regular evening visits to Switchyard Park to see a significant vagrant population who are smoking, drinking, and we're pretty sure we just witnessed a drug deal at the park pavillion. The police, so conveniently located in the park, need to actually be out patrollimg it!
The people living at this address were throwing glass bottles into the street around 2 am. I went out to ask them to stop, they told me "f*ck off" and continued throwing glass bottles into the street near parked cars. There were also tons of beer cans and other trash.
