Our next door neighbor wanted us to shovel snow away from their mailbox since the snow was plowed in a pile in front of it. It was assumed my son's car was parked in the cul de sac however he hasn't parked there when severe weather hits. I am not in the best of the health to shovel it away. Can someone from the city just plow it away from their mailbox and to the right of their driveway where no one parks? I mean the best to the city plow services but the neighbors think its our responsibility to shovel it and I beg to differ. Please direct me on this issue. They are a relatively young middle aged couple and are quite capable of handling this without blaming us. Deepest regards, Stacy

Hello, At 7:30am, someone began jack-hammering the sidewalk immediately outside my apartment window at 222 N College Ave. There are several apartments facing that sidewalk at this location, and it is directly across the street from the Hilton Hotel. In other words, since many people may be trying to sleep in this area, it seems a bit unreasonable to start something so loud before 8am. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Hello, I live in Bloom Apartments, which is owned by Hunter Bloomington Property Group. Last week, I received this letter announcing a bark park, along with the image at the bottom. I found out that the property group only installed a gate to block vehicles and one on the sidewalk for pedestrians, but have no other enclosures surroudning. I think this is misleading to call it a bark park, when every instance of a bark park or dog park I can find means it has an fenced-in area for dogs to roam. The way they worded this along with the image of the entrance gate makes it seem like it's enclosed. When I called, the representative didn't seem interested or concerned, even when I asked if they could sent a follow-up email clarifying how the space isn't enclosed. My main worry is that dog owners may not know the bark park isn't enclosed, and could lose a dog or have it hit by a vehicle being so close to main roads. Thank you, Vincent Holloway

Hsiung Marler Can you please explain why there are still power lines hanging down within reach of the sidewalk in front on the entrance to switchyard park on Rogers street! This was posted months ago. How long does it take to call the power company/city workers to take care of this dangerous and serious problem????? Seems several post alude to the city not taking care of problems or taking way to long to respond to issues!

Is there a reason why Michael Stewart is not responding to all the blocked sidewalk complaints? I’ve reported a few months back and I’m getting no response. Look at all the blocked sidewalk complaints and most are all open with. I comments. If he is unable to do this, can someone else take it over? Unacceptable.
