On 1/24/2025 and 9:15 AM on bus #0348, I observed the strong odor of and could see smoke-haze from deisel exhaust backing up into the public bus. I have spoken to Bloomington Transportation dispatch and customer service and was told that, "That is just part of the bus's regenerative re-uptake process." When they refused to take this matter seriously in the past, I contacted the EPA. The EPA shall be contacted again on this issue since neither the city nor bus company will take this matter seriously, which inevitably affects the city's rating with the EPA as a green-friendly city. I would like to suggest new street lights. There is a school cross walk at Templeton School on Henderson Street between Hillside and Grimes. There are families that use this cross walk in the morning prior to sunrise. A street light there would be very helpful. I also believe street lights at all school bus stops would be beneficial to students waiting for the bus in the dark. Thank you.

Report of graffiti at 1301 Woodhill Dr. There has been a "F--- You" spray painted onto a vacant house, as well as a spray painted phallic object on the street. A stop sign was also marked nearby.

Greetings, Starting around 2a on April 4, a horribly obnoxious ringing began filling the air near the hospital. It is running non-stop, and is rather painful to the ears. Is it the IU Health hospital? If not, what else is doing this, and is it possible to have it stop? Thank you!

Hello! I would like to request a street light on S. Hickory Grove Lane. It is very dark on our road and we have TONS of kids who actually play outside!! People drive down the road very fast (most of them are delivery people). It would help them see the kids. Most of the houses have their porch lights on, but the light from the porches doesn’t extend to the road. It would be much safer for all the kids. Thank you! -Kirsten Elliott

The street lights at the intersection of High Street and Covenanter have not been working properly for at least a month. While driving in the morning, it is extremely dark and feels unsafe.

Several houses on Woodhill Drive have various issues from broken garage doors (see picture) to overflowing trash cans and mold growing on the siding. Caladbolg is listed as the owner of these properties. How can we keep them from letting their properties get like this! These owners are true slumlords and I would like to file a complaint.

Several households (four I think) have stacked storm damage debris on the south side of Sheridan directly across from 1315 Sheridan.

We would like a street light put in on the telephone pole across from our house (on 6th St between Adams and Ritter). There is a definitive dark spot in this area. Our house had an attempted robbery last night and our cars have been broken into numerous times - I believe that the dark part of the street may be a factor in some of this. If there was a street light, it may deter some crime. Other neighbors have reported their cars being broken into as well.
