Your website says I am eligible for a street parking permit in zone 4, but when I called to ask about getting an application they told me "the website is wrong."
Parking lot light is on in the daytime
Homeless camp stuff still on City property at Patterson and Fairview. Some has been moved onto 1107 S. Fairview, Great Harvest Ministry.
Stolen orange/white barrel sitting on the south side of this building facing the alley in between the two entrance doors.
There are no lights on the entire block of our street. It is a very dangerous situation, especially walking at night.
Street light out in front of 514 W. Kirkwood Ave.
Used needle next to mailboxes.
Eighth Street is extremely poorly lit. From Walnut all the way to Fess there are almost no street lights and its extremely dangerous. I feel unsafe walking home from the IU campus at night, or even walking home from a restaurant in the evening. The lack of street lights in this area is simply ridiculous. The city of Bloomington has an obligation to make sure its citizens are safe and it is neglecting to do so. The area that is the subject of this complaint is the exact same street in which Hannah Wilson was abducted and murdered, and within the last month the exact same street has been the location of an armed robbery. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that something must be done to make this area safer. The city has a responsibility to do everything within its power to protect its citizens, and adding a few streetlights hardly seems like an impossible task.
