Hello, I'm a second-year tenant of a house on S Woodlawn Ave. The walk home at night is very dangerous because there are no street lights once you get south of Atwater Ave. As a larger man, I luckily do not have to worry as much as about being abducted by any predators. However, I still worry about getting struck by a car because of the lack of visibility on the streets and sidewalks. We have guests that are women that fear coming to our house at night because of how dark the street gets and they could easily be abducted in the dark. My roommates and I often find ourselves having to walk guests to Atwater for them to feel safe. It is a public safety issue and I'm requesting that street lights are installed on Woodlawn Ave for a minimum of 5 blocks south of Atwater. Woodlawn is a highly trafficked area not only by cars, but pedestrians too. I'm a policy analysis major and would love to be involved in any research or implementation needed to solve this issue. Encampment of houseless individuals taking up on public sidewalk behind tree planter every night. The area is blocked during their occupation and when they leave, copious amounts of trash, discarded belongings, syringes etc are left behind to be cleaned up by others. The public defecation that takes place is a public health hazard.

Behind 512 W Howe St. - I had this problem in the Fall will tree limbs being placed on the street and on my property on the Smith Ave side. This morning I found more limbs and a political sign posted near my recycle and trash bins. I removed the sign but have not yet removed the limbs. This is more of a report for the city since this is becoming a pattern. If it continues I'll ask for next steps. Thank you, Matt Francisco

Dang turn signals turn on when no cars are in the turn lane. What's up with that? Makes me want to run the red light. I guess that is ok.

crows had attacked the back parking lot early Dec 17th. My wife and I cleaned up the back parking lot Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon I went to Lowes and bought two fake Horned Owls and placed them on my air conditioner units. The next day Dec 20th there were no signs of crow activity from the night before.

I would like to request the consideration of a streetlight for the block of N Fess Ave between E 9th St and E 10th St. I frequently walk through this block late on Thursday evenings, and it is the one block in the area that is truly dark. Other streets are well lit, but walking through this block is truly very dark and feels a bit unsafe. I've attached a photo of said block, although it's worth noting that my phone left the shutter open for longer when taking it, and thus in reality the block is darker than the photo would seem to indicate.
