I moved here about four months ago, and it has alarmed me how many times I've seen people holding a cell phone up to their ear while driving! All over town. This morning I was seeing my kids off on the school bus, and the guy behind the bus was talking on the phone as he followed them. Charging people $240 for towing a car 11 blocks is legalized extortion and unconscionable. Especially during an event that is promoted by the city and led by the mayor.
Today was the first day I used the B-line and bike boulevard on Allen Street. I really enjoy having these types of routes available to me for commuting on my bike. I hope that the city will build in more of these types of places.
