This morning, sanitation services left the contents of the shared recycling bin of the duplex for addresses 718, 720, and 722 W Kirkwood Ave. all over the curb. I understand that my duplex neighbors before have placed items in the recycling bin that are not recyclable, and I try to remove those as I see them, but dumping what is essentially all of the contents on the sidewalk for me to have to pick up is ridiculous. My neighbors are lazy and will not clean it up themselves, so until I return home from work today, all of that recycling is just going to sit and rot on the sidewalk. Also, no notice was left, so even if they were to go out and see what happened, they would have no clue as to why these things weren't collected. I understand the frustration of people putting legit trash in the recycling bin, it frustrates me too, but there's a level of passive aggression here that is quite unwarranted and is instead resulting in littering by your employees and a genuine inconvenience from me that I can't address in a timely manner, since most people getting into their car for their morning commute don't expect to see their recycling bin dumped on the sidewalk, waiting for them.

704 S Eastside Drive. The recycling truck driver was flying through our street at break neck speed. They did not take enough time to properly empty our recycling can. There was NO piece of cardboard wedged in there to prevent the items from falling out of the can into the truck once the can was upside down. The result: can on its side when the truck left, half of the contents still in it, plastic strewn in the road and on the sidewalk. An F for this performance.

Today I've decided to complain about an issue I started regularly noticing months ago. Whoever is now collecting trash &/or recycling on our street, S. Eagleson Av, in the section between 2nd and Sheridon, is routinely dumping the recepticals on their sides on the ground whereever convenient. (See photo) This morning they left my neighor's on the ground blocking the entry way to our common driveway. When I came to move it, I realized they had also broken the lid. Then as I drove south on S.Eagleson, I saw that this was done all the way to Sheridan, where I assume the truck turned. At least half the bins were on their sides, some in the street. I took four photos the whole way, as well as two of my neigbor's receptical- Unfortunately your portal only allows a single photo, but I have all the others. Please address this situation. There is no reason the recepticals can't be placed upright, but at least they should be neither broken nor left on their sides in the street, on a sidewalk or in the entrance to a driveway. There is an orphaned recycling bin on the sidewalk in front of 423 S Eagleson - it does not belong to any of us in this area. Is it possible to find where it belongs based on the serial number? Or if not could it be collected by the city?

4 trash cans were placed on the sidewalk on Friday morning. Our trash day is Monday. They are completely blocking the sidewalk.

To enhance accessibility for mobility wheelchairs, could sanitation workers please replace empty bins on grass off sidewalks? I am talking about the new sidewalks and walking path on West 17th that are situated by the curb without a grassy strip between the sidewalk and curb. Disabled people have difficulty navigating wheelchairs on trash day. Neighbors place their bins correctly at night but sanitation workers unload the empty bins willy-nilly on the sidewalk. It will take more work but hopefully they understand. Sanitation workers do a great job.
