Trash pickup should not be delayed for weather. My business is open and my people are working so my government should be open and it's people working too. Especially since I'm paying for it with my taxes. Should I delay my utilities payment by 2 days this month for weather as well?
We are located near a bus stop on 17th and College and are curious if we can please have a larger trash can put in place? It consistently overflows and blows into the yard of our business (Like Law Group, 1211 N. College Ave). We appreciate your consideration.
Trash bin wheel was found to be broken after truck pickup this morning
Pinehurst Drive trash was not picked up today on Thursday, 3/14. Recycling came per usual, but the entire block still has full trash cans out front.
Once again after the crew had been advised not to collect trash on Kinser Pike between 7:30 and 8:00 am, they did it again this morning. There is no way to pass and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach 46 and Kinser when collection is taking place at this time. There is no other route out of our four additions except for Kinser.

I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.
I am a condominium owner at the Woolery Mill Townhomes Section 2, a condominium community located at 1250 West Adams Hill Circle, Bloomington, IN, 47403. Every week, we have over-flowing trash bins. Often, I cannot add my trash to the bins, but must wait until they are emptied (otherwise I would add to the problem). I have photos from several weeks that this has happened. I have submitted this problem to the property management company, Jamar Property Management, LLC, several times. I have lived at these condominiums since August of 2021, and the problem has never been resolved. Would you please intervene? A simple increase of trash pick-up would probably solve the problem. We've also been told that one bin is for recycling and one isn't. But, there are rumors that the "recycle" bin really isn't recycled. No one seems to know for sure and we have not been informed by the management company. Thank you very much for your time, help and consideration. I appreciate it very much. I tried to attach a photo of what the bin looks like today, but I don't see that it was attached. I have several photos with dates that this has occurred continuously. It happens weekly. This is a nice community, but the overflowing trash bins are inexcusable, unsanitary, and an eyesore.
Someone this past weekend dumped a box springs in the middle of Wilson Street between Grant and Palmer. I moved it off the street, but could you send a truck and pick it up?
