I called last Friday and reported that my recycling was never picked up and I was told to leave it by the curb and it would be a day or so before you would get to it.. As of today it is still in the front of my house full to the top so I guess it will not be picked up until tomorrow which is the usual day for pick up. I need a refund since I pay every month on my water bill for this service. Please have someone contact my. Thanks, Julie

Hi, I had a note from the sanitation crew that said my trash was too close too a vehicle (true) and had to be placed on the curb. I live at 419 S Highland Ave. The trash and recycling cans were on the sidewalk, as they always are, so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to put them closer to the street? Also, they are very close to a car because it's the only place they can be put other than the street or the driveway (which is shared) so I'm not sure what I should do. Also, my yard waste wasn't picked up at all, so I'm in a bit of a quandary. I think very highly of the folks picking up the trash and recycling and want to do whatever I can to make it as easy as possible. I'm just not sure how to do that. Please advise. Driving west on 46 toward elletsville at 8:40am a Bloomington Sanitation truck was spewing items onto the road (milk jugs, boxes) with cars dodging and weaving to avoid the debris, it was hazardous! Maybe a hatch that did not close?

6:05am Weds 11/29: City sanitation truck driving south on S Woodlawn at Bryan Park (going to collect trash from park receptacle at Woodlawn and Sheridan) completely ignored stop sign on S Woodlawn. I’ve seen a number of pedestrians nearly get hit by cars that treat stop signs as optional. It’s dismaying to see a city owned vehicle contributing to that dangerous trend.

Information on Sanitation site is incorrect & not updated. When & where can I get the recycle bins I paid for? The inly info avail is must be picked up 1st wk Nov & now it’s 1st wk of Dec!
