I live at 1706 S Huntington Dr and my recycling was not picked up yesterday (06/24/24). There was no notice left on the can, and looking over the requirements, the cans should not have violated any of the requirements to be picked up.

Trash

Case Date:
10/7/2024

I found a large recycling can (City-issued) in our front yard last Tuesday or Wednesday. It was lying in the grass partially under a shrub I got it upright and put it out by the street, thinking it might be a neighbor's. It's still sitting there. It doesn't appear to belong to anyone on our end of Mitchell Street. I don't how this bin came to be in our yard, but can someone come out and pick it up?

Trash

Case Date:
10/22/2024

this is another report about trash at 612 W. Clover Terrace (prev. report #198717) This house needs a larger trash bin! That would solve the problem. This is their trash every week and the picture is today - after our trash pickup. Same thing last week. Trash all over the ground and they don't pick up. Landlord needs to get bigger cart!

To enhance accessibility for mobility wheelchairs, could sanitation workers please replace empty bins on grass off sidewalks? I am talking about the new sidewalks and walking path on West 17th that are situated by the curb without a grassy strip between the sidewalk and curb. Disabled people have difficulty navigating wheelchairs on trash day. Neighbors place their bins correctly at night but sanitation workers unload the empty bins willy-nilly on the sidewalk. It will take more work but hopefully they understand. Sanitation workers do a great job.
