We were charged over $300 under sanitation for "Large Item Pick up", however, were not responsible for any items that were allegedly picked up. I have tried to get in contact with the sanitation department for the past month with no avail. I would like to get this issue resolved so I am not responsible for the charges or the late fees that could potentially accrue. We lost a big limb from a maple tree in the tree plot on Saturday, May 17. The neighbors cut up the limb that was blocking one lane of Third Street and left the debris in the tree plot, since we were out of town. Will the city pick up the limbs that are now in the tree plot? if you are the wrong department to ask this, please tell me who to contact? Thank you.
This rental house across the street from us has had two mattresses leaned up against the house by the garage for quite a long time being exposed to the elements and likely a habitat for vermin. More recently, someone has dumped a mattress from the Bypass that sits on the steep hill at the end of our Fritz Drive culdesac. Can HAND cite the rental property owner about the mattresses at the residence? And can Sanitation do something to remove the mattress dumped from the Bypass?
