The street at the end of our driveway and in front of our mailbox has been eroding to the point that I'm worried it will cause a tripping or biking hazard for the kids in our neighborhood or will damage the tires of people visiting (including the mail truck). I'm not sure if this is something we should attempt to repair ourselves.
Someone hit a tree on the city-owned portion of our property and left a partially broken branch hanging in the road. I don't feel safe cutting it down myself and I've already chased off two kids trying to play with it. Can the city send someone to remove it? Thanks!

A tree removal company took down the dead end sign and did not replace it.
The asphalt has buckled on the street at 3875 E Regents Circle, Bloomington, IN 47401. I can't tell if the damage was caused by external forces (e.g., heavy duty equipment, etc.) Thanks, - Rob Aney robaney@yahoo.com
