There's no "walk" button for pedestrians on the southeast corner of the intersection of N Union St and E 10th Street who want to cross 10th Street heading north. There is a sign, but no button - just two wires sticking out of the light pole.

Hi! It's been long enough since I worked for the City that I can no longer remember whether this is a signal that the state or the city controls, so please let me know if I need to talk to the state instead. I am a parent of a North High School student, but we're districted in South, so we carpool every day to school and back. I noticed today that the signal at 46 and Kinser Pike doesn't stay green very long for the cars on Kinser. Normally, that makes total sense. However, I'm wondering if, during that pick up time in the afternoon when traffic backs up down Kinser Pike, the timing of the light could change to allow for more cars to get through that intersection. It would be so lovely if that were possible. It's a pretty small window, starting with when the school buses leave North, probably around 2:50 or so, and maybe going for 20 minutes after that? A very short stretch of North Indiana Avenue is extremely bumpy and uneven immediately to the south of East 7th Street. The bumpy stretch is right before you reach the intersection with 7th St as you're heading north on Indiana Ave.
