Potholes, Other Street Repair
150 W 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47404, USA
- Case Date:

Deep narrow pothole beside square donuts.
Deep narrow pothole beside square donuts.
Multiple, deep potholes in the entire 300 block of S. Kirby Alley. End to end.
Large pothole capable of popping tires.
The accessible crosswalk signal on the south east corner of South Walnut and East Kirkwood Ave. is not working to alert pedestrians for safe crossing of Walnut Street.
The traffic light at the intersection of Adams St and Bloomfield Rd/Second St. is improperly adjusted. There is very light traffic from Adams St, but the traffic signal is set as if Adams St had similar traffic as Second St/Bloomfield Rd. This problem causes needless traffic backups on Bloomfield Rd/Second St, resulting in increased pollution from vehicles sitting at the traffic signal when there is no traffic from Adams St. Please send someone to view activity at this location, and adjust the signal so that it changes only when there are vehicles waiting on Adams St.
Traffic signal at Bloomfield Road and Adams Street needs attention. The light heading West and East is only holding for about 6-8 cars. There is nobody waiting at Adams and it holds forever creating a backup on Bloomfield Rd.
The traffic signal only lets 6 cars go on Bloomfield Rd with nobody waiting on Adams Street. Then it holds forever for Adams St.
The traffic signal at Adams and 2nd/Bloomfield seems to be functioning incorrectly. Traffic is very backed up at the time of this report.
The light going east/west on 2nd/Bloomington Rd is very short (at least on certian days and times). I've been in lines with piles of cars for this light with only a few get through each time, making you stop for several light rotations on an otherwise traffic free drive. Usually only a few cars (and sometimes absolutely none) go through the light in the north/south direction while the east/west lines are waiting. Thought this was weird, and it doesn't always happen, but it's annoying when it does.
Going through the light at Adam’s and 2nd street heading east/west bound, the light only stays green long enough for 4 cars to get through and is backing up traffic.
