There's something else going on in the neighborhood. The Indiana RR trestle on Adams Street is hit about twice a week. A RR truck took a look at it a few days ago. Rebar is exposed again, they will have to fix it.
A neighbor says the trestle is hit about twice a week. I saw a semi with a 40-foot trailer turn around at 6th Street and Adams. Closing Vernal Pike is squeezing traffic, and maps don't help.
How about a "No Trucks" and "Low clearance ahead" signs at 5th and Adams?

The alleyway on the southside of W 6th street between Adams and Pine (adjacent to 1221 W. 6th) is in SERIOUS need of repair. There is a lot of traffic in that alley as a result of the off street parking situation for the apartment houses near Kirkwood and Adams. The alleyway was covered in asphalt at one point and repaired with gravel. Today the gravel has been displaced and the surface is VERY uneven. Additionally there is a hazardous blindspot at the corner of this alley as a result of unkept landscaping at the abandoned house next door. Please feel free to contact me for more information.

There are several potholes in the alleyway that is between Adams and Pine. This is the alley adjacent to my house at 1221 W. 6th street (Grey House/Red Door). This is a high traffic area because it serves as access to the rear parking areas for several apartments on Kirkwood. The alley is on the south side of the street. it curves around and meets with Pine street. There are potholes at both ends of the alley. Some repairs were made in the spring/summer but it will need new gravel or asphalt before Winter.
Thank you for your attention to this.

There is a recurring pothole at the intersection of 17th St. and Kinser Pike that has been partially filled a few times, but the fix only seems to help for a couple weeks. Then it's as bad as always. I travel south on Kinser and turn left (east) onto 17th every day for work, and avoiding the pothole has become almost impossible. If you're coming northbound on Madison and go straight through the green light, you'll hit the hole hard enough to make you think you ran over something.

Poison hemlock infestation along the 4th St walking path between S. Jefferson and S. Roosevelt St in Green acres. This is not the only location of such an infestation of this poisonous invasive in Green Acres. There is also a tree of heaven established here. Lack of maintenance is chronic in this location. In general, lack of maintenance enforcement per city code of ROW and Utility Easements in Green Acres is, in my humble opinion, the reason that those of us who try to maintain our lawns, gardens, and outdoor living spaces, are in a constant losing battle against these invasive species. Sigh.

All the trees in the neighborhood are overgrown. All trees near sidewalks on Lismore and Marquis are overgrown in Crescent Pointe. The city has always trimmed the trees and they haven’t for a couple years. The trees against the road have always been the cities responsibility’s here. Thank you for your time!
Street Snow Removal

In the past the city of Bloomington has cleared snow on the street at 1250 W Adams Hill Circle (Countryside is the cross street). Is this still the case? I've seen the company our HOA employs to clean snow, plowing this street last week and today (1/15/18). Can you confirm that this should be cleaned by the city?
