There are multiple drainage issues in this area. The 2 outlets from the stormwater drain are partially covered (just west of the storm drain across Monon Dr). I’m not sure if the drain under the road is clear. The area floods readily with any rain. The ditch that runs west is blocked by leaves where it goes under a driveway and by debris closer to clear creek (at the end of hillside). Because this is one of the only drains/outlets/drainage ditches in the area it’s important to get it cleaned out. Can you help?

We have a drainage pipe? That runs under our ground and out to 10th street. Us custodians try to keep the ditch clean across the yard, but the pipe is so clogged with sand and dirt we’re getting a deep pond after a rain. When the pond water goes over our hill it takes debris with it onto our sidewalk and sometimes to the city bus stop. Is this something you can help with? Thanks!

There is no drainage for the alley between Fess and Henderson in the 800 block and it continues to flood and make the alley impassable. This has been ongoing for years. Neighbors back yards flood from the lack of proper drainage.

At the dead-end of 13th Street where it does not connect with Madison Street, there appears to be no drainage route for water to leave. During rain, it ponds, blocking the sidewalk and the road. The pond remains well after the rain stops. Can some provision for drainage be provided?

There is a drainage issue outside our neighbor’s home that is running in front of our home as well. The standing water has been there for about a year, is disgusting and has an odor that smells like fish. I am concerned about our children getting sick from getting this contaminated water on their hands and body. This is located on the cul-de-sac of S Bay Hill Court in Fieldstone Subdivision - specifically in front of 431 S Bay Hill Court.
