Former Sullivan's Store building at 115 N. Washington Street. Downspouts were tagged with marker (?) The building is currently vacant and available to rent. The substation wall at 11th & Rogers is becoming an eyesore. My wish is that the graffiti be painted over in full (not patches) as soon as possible after it is done to discourage future tags. It would be wonderful to have the full brick areas repainted as the patchwork painting highlights the exact location of past graffiti and will make covering future graffiti much easier.
Can the city blow out/vacuum the leaves/litter in the gutters/curbs/sidewalks on Kirkwood Avenue just east of Walnut Street? This is one of the “signature” streets of Bloomington, and it looks as if this maintenance hasn’t been performed in some time. The present condition fails to give the proper impression of the city of which Bloomington touts itself, especially at this time of year when we have many first-time visitors to the city. Thank you.
There has been a steadily increasing amount of graffiti on top of the mural on the underpass. Just the other day I saw two spray paint cans.
Graffiti on the south side of the smoke shop building (old subway) on Walnut and 6th.
Obscene Graffiti on the ground at the corner of the used bookstore and alleyway.
There are two swastikas spray painted on utility boxes in the alleyway attached to the Osteria Rago building. I notified the restaurant on 1/19/22 and nothing has been done about it still.
