TV on sidewalk.
snow piles on walks and in road, line of sight obscured, dangerous intersection
For over a year, both the owner and tenant of this location have made repeated offenses against city code - including dumping yard waste in the ally, not picking up trash in yard and on sidewalk, having multiple broken down cars parked (for over a year) on property without attempts to repair/remove them. Owners are constantly parking on sidewalk for days at a time. Tenants have aggressive dog that has jumped the fence and attacked people. Blue car in front of house (with flat tires) hasn't moved in over a year, and does not run. Blue SUV doesn't run, and hasnt moved in months. Trash and recycle bin are constantly over flowing and spilling trash. Bins are never removed from sidewalk. Witnesses have caught tenants throwing trash into neighbors yard.
Trash has now been accumulating on the porch for three weeks without being put out for removal. Carts overflowing, plus a big box. Food and other waste, and blowing into nearby yards. One block away I saw a dead rat on sidewalk; don’t want them in this block.
all around carlisle plant, woodlawn, hillside, snow on sidewalks not able to pass
Sidewalk in front of Delta Gamma impassable. DG responsibility or IU's?
Snow piled high, blocking sidewalk, impenetrable.
I just returned home from downtown Bloomington. Not one single sidewalk leading to a crosswalk has been shoveled. I found it quite dangerous to walk through the snow and ice to cross the street. I am required by law to clear my sidewalks within 24 hours after the end of a snow storm and do so religiously. Yet here it is three days after the end of the last storm and no effort has been made to clear the crosswalk sidewalks. Why must I obey the law if our own city government and mayor are aloud to violate this law. This is inexcusable not to mention discriminatory. Shame on Mayor Hamilton and his government. Law Abiding Citizen, Catherine E. Steele
The Bloomington Sandwich Shop sets their Monster trash totes out in the morning for pickup. Today they were overstuffed and trash was scattered down the sidewalk and into the street.
